At Willow Springs, we grow together!
Located in the heart of Draper city and opened in 2006, Willow Springs Elementary serves children in grades K-5 as part of Canyons School District. Our elementary students feed into Draper Park Middle School and Corner Canyon High School. Our school colors are purple and white, and our students cheer for our school mascot, Willie the Wildcat.
WILLOW SPRINGS ELEMENTARY MISSION STATEMENT: We grow together as we pursue the core competencies in Canyons School District’s Portrait of a Scholar. Our goal is to increase student literacy skills through engagement, content integration, and high-quality learning.
Our caring and qualified educators provide the instruction and support each of our students need to find success in their educational goals. Leaners of all ages are supported through our ever-evolving curriculum and educational activities. Classroom learning is supported through Brain Booster classes featuring visual art, STEM, music, library, and Playworks. Our school is a Beverley Taylor Sorenson school and holds an annual family art night in the spring showcasing all of our students.
Thanks to devoted and dependable custodial, office, lunchroom, and behavioral support staff, our students benefit from beautiful facilities, balanced lunches, and a safe environment where their daily needs can be met.
Our administration has an open-door policy and encourages students to do their best by recognizing students each month that exemplify our school PAWS rules. A supportive PTA and community add to our school climate sponsoring field trips, special days, and school-wide events such as our annual Jog-a-thon.
Willow Springs Elementary is committed to excellence in education where life-long learners become productive, contributing citizens. Please explore our website to find more information about our school.
