1. Opening Items

   • Approval of May, 2026 Minutes
   • Approval of proposed SCC Meeting Dates 2026-2026
     • SCC will continue to meet second Wednesday of each month from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Willow Springs Elementary on the following dates:
       1. October 14, 2026
       2. November 11, 2026
       3. December 9, 2026
       4. January 13, 2027
       5. February 10, 2027
       6. March 10, 2027
       7. April 14, 2027
       8. May 12, 2027
   • Approval of proposal to move full amount of $3600.16 in Cell Tower Money to Principal Discretionary Funds
     • Motion to approve consent agenda items by Annie Nixon. Second by Brooke Zimmerman. Yea: all Nay: none The motion carries.
3. Discussion Items
   • Discussion: SCC Expectations, Roles and Responsibilities, Bylaws, Trainings – Principal- we will clarify online notes to reflect that members will be seated until a new members is found after the original member’s two year term- 9/9 voting members: Jennie, Chloe, Brooke, Erika, Megan, Annie, Aimee
   • Discussion: SCC Selection: Chair, Vice, “Other Consideration” – Principal (Action Item)
     1. Brooke Zimmerman nominated Jennie Stratton as SCC Chair. Aimee Wagner seconded the nomination. Yea: all. Nay: none. Nomination motion carries.
     2. Jennie Stratton nominated Chloe Heder as SCC Vice Chair. Annie Nixon seconded the nomination. Yea: all. Nay: none. Nomination motion carries.
     3.  ___ nominated Brooke Zimmerman as SCC Secretary. ___ seconded the nomination. Yea: all. Nay: none. Nomination motion carries.
   • Discussion: FTE Discussion, Land Trust Amendment Proposal (Action Item – Amendment Signatures needed 9/11/2026) FTE came back high enough to get our .5 teacher salary back- money to be re-allocated to interventionists, training (specifically to gain skills to improve quality teaching), and materials. Plan will be presented to BLT and then brought for signatures.
   • Presentation and Report Follow-up: SCC Safety Report 2025-2026 – Principal (Information Item)
   • Principal Presentation: PBIS School Plan – Administration (Information Item) We are continuing with our two behavioral assistants, new focus this year on positive dialogue and perspective taking with differences. Our PBIS goals and thought process can stem from our desire to have a positive picture as a “graduate of Willow Springs”.
   • First Discussion: Digital Citizenship and School Safety Plan and Report – Principal and Instructional Coach (Information Item) Proposal to “host” digital citizenship week October 11-13th: parent square tips will go out using district provided resources and a tutorial around safe screens/ monitoring from Annie Nixon. Parking lot safety concern message to go out via parent square.
