  • Introductions
    • Anne Hansen the incoming principal was in attendance and introduced herself. Anne has been assistant principal at Sandy Elementary for two years.  She loves gardening and plays.  She taught high school English for two years, then took a break to raise her boys.  She came back and taught 5th grade for three years.  All other members were in attendance and introduced themselves as well.   
  • Approve Minutes
    • The council unanimously agreed to approve the April 2023 minutes.
  • Review Willow Springs Plans
    • SCC Digital and Safety Report for 2022-23
      • Reviewed report.
      • Denise suggested a parent video at back-to-school night to talk about the continued concern of pick up and drop off in the faculty/bus parking lot.
    • TSSP and Land Trust for 2023-24
      • Reviewed plan.
    • Safe Routes Utah for 2023-24
      • Reviewed plan.
  • Current year’s goals and spending.
      • Reviewed end of year data and goals. Discussed each goal and if it was met or not.
      • Reviewed this year’s spending.
      • The council will meet in September after nominations and elections conclude at the end of August.
      • Anne Hansen suggested the meetings next school year be held at the same time 10 AM, the third Wednesday of each month. The council agreed.
  • Megan Ord motioned to adjourn the meeting, Jessica seconded the motion the council unanimously agreed, and the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.
